AdultsBeing a grown up isn't always easy. In my work with adults, clients come with a wide range of issues, including bereavement, anxiety, depression, work-related stress, relationship difficulties, problems with anger ... the list goes on. However, you don't have to have a specific problem to ask for help. Many of us developed strategies when we were younger, to help us cope with life. They worked for a while, but now cause difficulties.
Changing them after so long feels impossible. I am particularly interested in working with adults who would like to resolve issues from childhood which continue to affect them in later life. Whatever age you are, having someone you can talk to about what troubles you, feeling confident that you are heard, understood and accepted, is genuinely life changing.
